BLUE LOTUS began its business operations in 2017 to capitalize on the immense opportunities in the Oil and Gas sector in Uganda and other neighbouring countries in the East African Region. Blue Lotus is a wholly local owned company operating in the jurisdiction of Uganda and is conversant with the national content guidelines, the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Authority (“PPDA”), and other relevant legislation in Uganda.

Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Pretoria, South Africa, with more than 8 years of experience in:

  • Legal complex matters; corporate and commercial transactions, environmental, energy, High Court litigation, property, labour practice, intellectual property and mining regulatory sectors.
  • Commodities brokering of crude oil and refined products. 
  • Relationship building and development of buyers and sellers in oil and crude products. 
  • Compliance and advisory services to construction and multinational oil and gas companies. 
  • Identifying upcoming opportunities in the Oil and Gas Sector in Uganda.
